Daktarin Powder is a medicated antifungal talc used in the treatment of fungal and associated bacterial skin infections. It contains Miconazole Nitrate 2% w/w, which helps eliminate infection while providing a drying effect to soothe affected areas.
It is commonly used to treat athlete’s foot, but can also treat
jock itch (groin infections), ringworm, and infected nappy rash, particularly where moisture control is important.
The powder is applied twice daily
and treatment should continue for up to 10 days after symptoms have resolved
to help prevent recurrence. Daktarin Powder can also be used alongside Daktarin Cream
for enhanced treatment where advised.
