What is a podiatry appointment like at our clinics?
Firstly, the Podiatrist will greet you and check your temperature and kindly ask you to sanitize your hands.
The Podiatrist will start taking a brief medical history and carry out any relevant assessments such as a vascular, neurological or musculoskeletal assessment if required.
The Podiatrist will carry out any treatments needed such as routine nail cutting, ingrown toenail treatment, callus/corn removal, verruca treatment, casting for insoles etc.
Lastly you will be given some tips and advice on how to maintain your feet at home until your next appointment.
